KOA (AM)KOA (850 AM band, "850 KOA") is a clear-channel talk radio radio station serving Denver, Colorado. It is owned by Clear Channel Communications. Radio host Alan Berg broadcast his liberal talk show from the station, but was shot and killed by members of a white supremacist group on June 18, 1984. Another host from an earlier era was Leigh Kamman, who hosted jazz programs during World War II. Kamman has long since returned to his home state of Minnesota, but he still regularly hosts music shows on Minnesota Public Radio as of 2005. ==External links== *[http://www.850koa.com/main.html 850 KOA] Clear Channel radio stations Radio stations in Colorado Denver, Colorado See other meanings of words starting from letter: KKA | KB | KC | KD | KE | KF | KG | KH | KI | KJ | KL | KM | KN | KO | KP | KR | KS | KT | KU | KW | KX | KY | KZ |Words begining with KOA_(AM): KOA_(AM) |
