KPHO

KPHO is the CBS affiliate television station in Phoenix, Arizona. Its transmitter is located on South Mountain in Phoenix, Arizona. It can be seen on Channel 5 in Phoenix and can be viewed in Northern Arizona, albeit on different channels due to different transmitter locations. The station was an independent station for many years until the mid 90's, when a massive shift in network affiliations occurred in the market. The CBS affiliation from KSAZ Channel 10 came to this station, and KPHO has been a CBS affiliate since then.
