I'm in favor of it, and I hope that editors will do a better job of communicating in the future. As for your other suggestion of having those involved sign an agreement, I think that you need to determine if you are there as a "neutral" mediator or as one editor's advocate. If you are advocating for one editor then I think that is is inappropriate to ask other editors to do x, y, or z. Heck, I'm not even sure if I'm one of the "involved". But I do appreciate your efforts to find consensus. Somewhat reminiscent of the Darwin/Lincoln birthday dispute. But my involvement and interest in the topic are limited. I had looked in as a result of the RfC, made some comments about how Nobel Prizes work and a comment about using talk pages, and then today added the formal title of the tribunal, which has been my only actual contribution to the article. A few days ago Nobs sent me a note about the article which seemed to confuse me with other editors, but I wasn't surprised since the talk page is a mess.
